SiteWrench is run by people who keep real GoDaddy Website Builder sites on the road — small-business sites that book appointments, take messages, and occasionally sell things, built and maintained in the same Websites + Marketing editor this manual documents. The procedures here started life as our own shop notes: the steps we wrote down so the second site took half as long as the first.
The method
Every procedure is checked against the live builder and against GoDaddy's own documented steps before it is published, and re-checked when GoDaddy moves a menu — which it does. Prices are traced through to renewal, not just quoted at the promo rate, and any figure we cannot verify twice is marked as approximate in the text. When something in the builder gives out under normal use, we log it as a wear point rather than pretending it is fine. The manual's authority comes from candor about what the machine cannot do, not enthusiasm about what it can.
Independence
SiteWrench is an independent manual. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC. GoDaddy and related marks belong to their owners; we use them only to identify the products we document. GoDaddy has never seen a page of this site before you have, and no vendor gets to request an edit, soften a caution, or preview a verdict.

GoDaddy moves menus without notice, and the fastest way we hear about it is from a reader mid-procedure. If a step on this site no longer matches the live editor, send it through the contact page with the page name and the step number. We will re-check the procedure and stamp a new revision date on it.
